Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThat thickness is most of why this costs more than a box-store address sign.
