The font overlay on the listing lets you see your name in the lettering style you choose. Once the order is in, our team draws the sign up and scales the font to suit the length of your name, so the finished proportions can sit a little differently than the preview. Same font, sized for the best fit.
Every piece is cut from 12-gauge steel, which is 3mm thick. Most online sign shops use 14 or 16-gauge, roughly half the thickness. Ours gets powder-coated after cutting, and that finish is rated around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
Getting a name wrong on a sign is the fear, and the proof step handles it. You see the exact layout, spelling and font before a cutter touches steel, and our team reworks it until you sign off.

Common questions
How long until I get my sign?
For custom work you will have a design proof to review within 3 days. Once you approve it, the sign takes about 3 to 4 weeks to reach your door, roughly 2 weeks in production plus about a week in transit, and a week longer in busy season. If you need it by a holiday or a specific date, tell us and we will let you know what is possible.
What sizes can you make?
We build to your size. Whether it is a small house number or a large sign for the shop or the gate, tell us the dimensions and we will design around them. No project is too big or too small.
Will it hold up outside?
Yes. Our signs are cut from 12-gauge steel, which is noticeably sturdier than the thinner 14-gauge most online stores use, then powder-coated. Powder-coated steel can last around 20 years in direct sun before it needs redoing.
